A sharp and consistent performer throughout all apertures and focal lengths.
It works well with both Canon teleconverters, but you pay the penalty with increased CA when used in conjunction with a 2x teleconverter.
The image stabiliser is 2nd generation and feels less clunky than its predecessor. AF is also lighting fast.
The lens is quite a bit larger than the f4 non IS version, but well worth the investment for its speed. I’d probably go as far to say its the best 70-200 zoom on the market, period.
