    This test was run at ISO 400 so the sharpness is probably understated.

    Given this, CA is neglible (even at f4), while sharpness is excellent and consistent.

    Being 600mm its best to keep IS on at all times even on a tripod.

    At nigh on £6k, you’d expect quality and performance and you get it!

    It works extremely well with Canon 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, in fact most bird photographers keep the 1.4x on all the time.

    The only negative is its size. Its absolutley HUGE, you need to be one dedciated birder to own and use one!
