Yep, its been a while since I updated my Blog!
The last 7 months have flown past with very little photography being achieved. Well, I guess that’s all down to Motorcycles and FeisolUK.
Soon after the tour of Scotland, I had to service the KTM990 and then followed a few off road days. After much deliberation I decided to get a more off road (lighter) orientated bike and spent a few months sourcing a KTM 525 exc. The next stage was to completely strip and rebuild it, in favour of making it a little more road orientated. So having spent the best part of 2 months in the garage, I finally had the ultimate hack!
Moving on, in November I tested the new Fujifilm X10 and orbs aside, I liked it enough to buy one. This replaces my trusty Ricoh GRDs as the (almost) perfect travel camera.
In early December I stocked up for the Xmas onslaught at FeisolUK and in doing so, I started the revamp of the web site which will hopefully launch in Q2 2012.
Over the Xmas period I got hold of a Phototrap, some radio triggers and a couple of Nissan flashguns. Having now got a bird feeder station set up in the garden, it’s only a matter of free time before I can put this to good use, since my next stop will be Florida 2012.
Yet again, a group (this time 10 of us) organised by yours truly will be flying out to Sanibel on the 3rd Feb for an immersive 10 days of bird photography!
