Exploring HDR
I looked at the website tonight and realised that I haven’t updated it for two weeks, so here’s what I’ve been up to.
About two weeks ago I started to get into HDR (high dynamic range) photography and have shot literally hundreds of frames with the 5D, while rushing back and forth to the PC to experiment.
HDR really expands the boundaries of digital photography and I’ve since added a dedicated gallery to exhibit my first explorations in this diverse medium.
I suppose what started it all off was the arrival of a new Sekonic L-758D light meter which provides exposure evaluation without the need to peer through the viewfinder, this in turn led me to think about alternative ways of recording scenes beyond that of one shot photography.
I’ve since added a few images (taken locally) to show the capabilities of shooting contra-jour, while retaining extreme tonality.

Dear John,
The first time I saw a good manual for silky pix. So I ordered and paid (I
got a receipt form paypal) for the e-book at your shop. Maybe I am
impatient, but how do I get the requested item?
thanks.
